The endowment was registered in December 2012/Muharram 1434. It marked the successful completion of the start up stage and has joined the ranks of being one of the few Awqaf agencies in the western world and second in Pacific region that is dedicated in serving the Muslim community regardless of the background of the Muslim beneficiary. Awkaf Australia is currently in the development stage. Through the partnership with global Awqaf leading agencies, Awkaf AU aims to make Australia and New Zealand a new global economic frontier for Awqaf development together with Awqaf New Zealand.
